Covid-19 Policy

For Volunteers

Feeding 5000

recognizes COVID-19 is upon us, affecting our lives…the uncertainty is creating stress and anxiety for all of us. Fortunately, we have Board Members providing support and guidance to keep us all safe in these trying times. We have made adaptations in the meal preparation and delivery process to protect both volunteers and clients. We will practice social distancing and germ control while not losing touch with one another. We are providing uninterrupted service and are prepared for any changes that may be called for in the future. Look to this page as changes are expected.

Requirements for Volunteers

All volunteers must be fully vaccinated

Feeding 5000 requires proof of vaccination be provided for us to view in person. A form will be completed where a supervising volunteer will attest to having viewed your vaccination record.

Without proof of vaccination status, you will not be permitted to work and will be turned away.

When serving or preparing meals, you must be gloved and masked. Gloves will be provided.

When working at Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, you must be gloved, masked and wear a hairnet. Gloves and hairnets will be provided.
